COMPREHENSIVE EYE CARE

Slit Lamp Comprehensive Eye Exam

Here at Premier Eye Care Group, we understand the importance of maintaining good eye health and ensuring that our patients have the best possible vision. Our comprehensive eye exam is designed to provide a thorough evaluation of your visual acuity and overall eye health, so you can see clearly and feel confident in your daily activities.

During your appointment, one of our experienced and highly trained optometrists will perform a series of tests to evaluate your visual acuity, eye muscle function, peripheral vision, and eye health with the help of our ophthalmic technicians. We use the latest technology and techniques to ensure that your exam is accurate and efficient.

The first part of the exam will be a refraction, which focuses on measuring your visual acuity, or how clearly you can see. This allows the optometrist to determine the strength of your eyeglasses prescription, if needed.

After dilation, the optometrist will evaluate your eye muscle function, checking for any problems with eye movements and coordination. This will help to identify any issues that may impact your ability to perform daily activities, such as reading, driving, and watching TV.

The optometrist will also check your peripheral vision, which refers to your ability to see objects and movement outside of your direct line of sight. This is important for detecting any potential issues with your eyes, such as glaucoma or a retinal detachment.

During the comprehensive eye exam, the optometrist will also examine the health of your eyes, including the eyelids, conjunctiva, cornea, iris, lens, and retina. This will help to detect any signs of eye disease or conditions, such as cataracts, macular degeneration, or diabetic retinopathy.

At the end of the exam, the optometrist will discuss their findings with you and provide recommendations for glasses, contact lenses, or any necessary treatments. They will also answer any questions you may have and provide additional information on how to maintain good eye health.

We take pride in providing personalized and compassionate care to all of our patients, and we are dedicated to ensuring that you have the best possible vision. Book your comprehensive eye exam today and take the first step towards maintaining good eye health.

With our state-of-the-art technology, you may have the option to skip dilation- meaning you can get back to your daily activities right away! Plus, our low cost of just $35 makes it accessible for everyone.

However, it's important to note that for medical conditions such as diabetes and glaucoma, dilation may still be necessary.
