John J. O'Donnell, Jr., O.D.
John J. O'Donnell, Jr., O.D. received his undergraduate degree in Biology from
St. Joseph's University. He attended the Pennsylvania College
of Optometry and earned his Optometry degree in 1983. While in
training, Dr. O'Donnell completed several intern and externships
and was the recipient of numerous clinical excellence awards.
He joined the staff of Premier Eye Care Group in 1994.
Dr. O'Donnell is a member of both the American and Pennsylvania Optometric Associations as well as the Central Pennsylvania Optometric Society. He has been especially active in the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, serving as a Trustee, President-Elect, and President during his membership.
In addition, Dr. O'Donnell served as President of the Central
Pennsylvania Optometric Society for a two-year term in 1985-1986.
He is also an active member of the Contact Lens Section of the
American Optometric Association and the Better Vision Institute.
Dr. O'Donnell has been listed in Who's Who in U.S. Medicine and Healthcare from 1997 to 1998. He was recognized by Who's Who in America in 1998 and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
In addition to primary care optometry, Dr. O'Donnell specializes in difficult-to-fit contact lenses. He is also available for pediatric and adult comprehensive eye examinations.
