“The funny thing is I still go to take my glasses 'off' before I get in the shower & sometimes in the morning I 'reach' for them on my nightstand. Forty-seven yrs of habit. :)” – Premier Eye Care Group patient
“Special kudos to the two nurses who handled me with kid gloves during the first eye surgery. I am grateful for the gift of sight! Thanks to both of you and the rest of your staff at Premier Eye Care.” – Premier Eye Care Group patient

Unique eyes, multiple eye conditions, diversified eye solutions.

Premier Eye Care Group’s doctors are some of the best in multiple eye surgery solutions. We are LASIK experts and so much more. Premier Eye Care Group is beyond a single eye corrective solution. Some other LASIK centers may only perform LASIK, so that is what they usually recommend. However, that may not be the best solution for your eyes. Since Premier Eye Care Group has expert doctors in multiple solutions, we can help you find the correct solution. At Premier Eye Care Group, we will only recommend what we feel is the right solution for the best result.

Think your eyes are beyond help? Some of Premier Eye Care Group’s state-of-the-art procedures can treat patients with severe myopia (nearsightedness) or hyperopia (farsightedness). This is an exciting time for patients who want vision correction surgery but thought they were beyond normal LASIK help. At Premier Eye Care, we are committed to providing the safest and best result for each individual patient. Everyone wants the best for their eyes – trust Premier Eye Care Group’s LASIK, PRK, ICL (Phakic IOL) and RLE eye doctor experts. The choice is clear!

Premier & LASIK, love at first sight.

Premier Eye Care Group’s LASIK program was built by and is run by our eye doctors. We have an eye doctor on-site – before, during and after your surgery. Some LASIK chains have an eye doctor come in to perform scheduled procedures only. At those centers, many patients do not see their LASIK doctor until the time of surgery – and then never again. Premier Eye Care Group has eye doctors available after your surgery to answer any post-surgery questions.

Premier & PRK, an option outside of LASIK.

PRK stands for photorefractive keratectomy and treats mild to moderate myopia, hyperopia, and astigmatism. PRK uses a cool beam of ultraviolet light to reshape the cornea. Unlike with LASIK, there is no flap in the cornea. There may be slightly longer healing time with PRK compared with LASIK. However, the results are also excellent, and PRK may be a more suitable option for patients with thinner corneas.

Premier & ICL (Phakic IOL), making the impossible possible.

Have you been told that LASIK is not an option for your eye because of high levels of myopia? Premier’s ICL lens implant may be the solution you are looking for. The Visian ICL (implantable collamer lens) is a thin lens implanted inside the eye behind the pupil, between the iris and the natural lens. This procedure can correct higher levels of myopia (up to -16 diopters!) than LASIK or PRK. The eye’s natural lens is left in place, and there is no corneal laser or treatment. Premier Eye Care has the most experience with performing ICL surgery in the Harrisburg region!

With Our New LenSx®, ICL’s Are Now Available For Our More Severe Near-sighted Patients

Myopes or patients who are myopic, in laymen terms are near-sighted. Usually LASIK and PRK can only correct up to 8-9 Diopters safely. The ICL is an implantable collamer lens that can correct up to 15-16+ Diopters of myopia. It doesn’t alter the corneal surface, it cause less dryness. Premier Eye Care Group have had some patients referred to them from other LASIK centers because they were not able to correct the patient with LASIK, because of the degree of correction or the patient wasn’t a LASIK candidate. And we did their ICL or refractive lens exchange. We provide a lot of different refractive options customized for each individual patients need.

How confident are we in this leading corrective eye surgery? One of our own eye doctors has trusted her eyes to Premier Eye Care Group’s IOL implant corrective procedure. Contact us today to find out if ICL is right for your eyes.
