IntraLase LASIK
IntraLase FS60 - a safer, more precise approach to LASIK surgery. The IntraLase laser is used to create the flap and our excimer laser is used to reshape the cornea. This two-step process is proven to give better results than traditional LASIK.

The Intralase LASIK procedure starts with creating a flap. Tiny pulses of laser light, a quadrillionth of a second each, pass harmlessly through the outer layer of one's cornea and form a predicable, uniform layer of microscopic bubbles just beneath the surface of your eye. The exact dimensions of this layer of bubbles are determined by your doctor based on what's best for your eye. With the Intralase FS60 the flap is created in approximately 20 seconds.
When the flap has been created, your surgeon folds back the top layer of the cornea to begin the LASIK treatment which alters the shape of your cornea. When the LASIK treatment is complete your flap is replaced and your eye begins to rapidly heal.

"Through my eyes is a whole new world to see. As the first person to have the IntraLase LASIK procedure by Dr. Barton, I can tell you it was extremely easy, comfortable and totally painless. I wore corrective lenses and my eyes were scratchy and tired after working at the computer all day. I do not have those problems since having IntraLase LASIK. Remember… 'Many eyes go thru the meadows, but few see the flowers.'" Jan Johnson |
